It takes 45–60 minutes to get an estimate
HOW TO OBTAIN AN ESTIMATE
Client's requirements briefing
First, an estimator with extensive experience in architecture, construction, design, and accounting gives a brief presentation about themselves and Finished Basement. During this presentation, the specialist discusses their expertise, processes, and the key advantages of working with our company.

01
Client's requirements briefing
Then, clients describe what they specifically want from their basement after its renovation. This could range from a personal space to a legal apartment for rent. They often browse through different room and element ideas (bathroom, bar, home theater, gym) and familiarize themselves with finished projects.

02
Taking room measurements
After discussing key ideas with the clients and their family members, the estimator takes measurements of the space. Specialized professional hardware and software are used for this, ensuring a minimal margin of error of around 0.5%. This process only takes a few minutes, not an hour or more.

03
Creating a basement floor plan
Thanks to extensive experience in designing basements throughout the GTA and all of Ontario, the estimator can draft a layout on-site that aligns with the client’s preferences. Typically, three 2D plans are produced, and clients either select one or ask to combine a couple.

04
Creating a basement 3D sketch
Based on the selected floor plan and using state-of-the-art software, the estimator crafts a graphic basement 3D sketch. With this, our clients can immediately visualize how their basement will appear once the renovation project is fully completed.

05
Receiving the estimate
In conclusion, clients receive an estimate with a preliminary calculation of the project cost. This is based on the basement’s area and other specific details of the space. Afterward, clients can discuss any details among themselves and compare prices without the company specialist’s presence.
